Knowledge, Understanding, and Wisdom
The three fundamental principles of life
"The Lord by wisdom founded the earth;
By understanding He established the heavens;
By His knowledge the depths were broken up,
And clouds drop down the dew"
As with God, being made in His image, we possess the ability to receive knowledge, understanding and wisdom, and this is why we are without excuse. For He founded the universe with these three, and allowed us to possess these three to come to know Him through these three. The three basic principles being the bedrock of why we are. And from knowledge, understanding and wisdom comes knowing truth, righteousness and justice. And from these three comes knowing mercy, grace and the salvation of God.
Ever since the beginning with Adam and Eve, they possessed these three basic principles, and from these three, Adam knew righteousness demonstrated by understanding the commandment of obedience:
"...Of every tree of the garden you may freely eat; but of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil you shall not eat..." (Genesis 2:16-17),
and from this He knew the justice of God from the consequence of this action:
"...for in the day that you eat of it you shall surely die" (Genesis 2:17),
knowing truth by this direct commandment from the one Who is the truth. As the Bible says:
"And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived, fell into transgression" (Timothy 2:14),
for he cannot be deceived unless he first possessed truth.
From the cunning corruption of the serpent who persuaded Eve by attacking through distortion these three basic principles, knowledge, understanding and wisdom, Adam and Eve both ate of the fruit learning the knowledge of evil, of falsehood, unrighteousness and injustice, receiving the justice of God by the immediate result of the consequences of their action by bringing death to their spirit through sin; but they also learned the grace and mercy of Him and His salvation through this process, all since the beginning.
The devil, the adversary of God came to attack these three basic principles, knowledge, understanding and wisdom, who separated himself from all that God is, Who is the light, and fell into pure darkness bringing his knowledge, understanding and wisdom from the dark side. In so that he may corrupt our knowledge, understanding and wisdom to bring forth falsehood instead of truth, injustice instead of justice, and unrighteousness instead of righteousness in an attempt to separate us from God as he is.
Although these actions brought forth the mercy, grace and salvation of God, he continues to use them so we may not receive God's mercy and grace, and ultimately His salvation, leading us to die in our sins, by remaining in the state of spiritual death.
The devil wants us to look past what it means to possess knowledge, understanding and wisdom and their origin, and to take them for granted, using them, by default, as his primary tools to bring his kingdom into this world.
As with these protests going on, the devil wants us to fight above the core fundamentals where the true battle is at, in which he can have authority over our lives by influencing our actions through us being established fighting in the wrong battlefield, instead of where the true fight is at, that is the kingdom of darkness vs the kingdom of light, the kingdom of God through the power of the Spirit of Christ.
